Getting hit by this seasonal flu has not been exactly fun. I've been doing my best to keep up with my work and studies but, at this busy hour, I'm glad it's me who gets the virus and not my computer. Starting my work from scratch AND recovering from the flu would be a lot worse.
Anyway, I got some refreshing news:
1. There are Mageia 3 Live images!
2. OpenMandriva finally decided on a logo.
3. Pardus released a community version.
A blog to compile what I have learned (and what I am learning) about Mandriva (and GNU/Linux in general) since 2009, when I migrated. Current distros I'm using: OpenMandriva Lx 4.2, Mageia 7, PCLinuxOS, MX 19, and Elive 3.

Hang in there - I fell sick far too many times last fall (and for the record, my computer chugged along as normal the whole time), so I know what it's like to have to deal with work and school when sick. Drink lots of fluids, and get as much rest as possible (which may or may not be equal to what you can get now)!

Hey, PV, thanks for your concern and the useful pieces of advice!

ResponderEliminarYou know, I don't quite like the chosen logo for OpenMandriva. The color reminds me of Redmond's latest release: FlopOS :P
Good thing that you are getting better.
EliminarSince I remember, Mandriva has used blue, light blue, and yellow. I guess they went for light blue this time...and yes, it is reminiscent of "FlopOS" :P
